Loving A Military Man

This quote, I think, has great meaning to those of us who is currently or previously a spouse to a soldier. It is hard to explain what we go through as a spouse during deployment. I would have to say most people don’t understand why we do what we do, but I know from my own personal experience that we do what we do, out of love for our spouses. Being a military spouse, we experience many lonely nights—missed hugs, kisses, and missed conversations—however, we also get to experience the feeling of true pride. Being a military spouse isn’t easy, but it is worth it! I never thought in a million years I would fall head-over-heels for a military man, but I did and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I wanted to share this quote with you because I feel like it puts a spouses feelings into perspective. We do what we do because we love our service member. It’s a good quote to fall back onto when you are having a hard day or night.
